Quinoa, Chocolate Chip, Banana Cookies



These quinoa, chocolate chip, banana cookies are a delightful and healthier twist on traditional cookies. Packed with the goodness of quinoa and bananas, they are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without the guilt.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet

Add the rolled oats, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to a large bowl

Mix the cooked quinoa with the mashed bananas

Add the dark chocolate chips and mix them in well

Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the baking sheet that has been prepared

Press down a little on each cookie with the back of the spoon or your fingers

After the oven is hot, bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown

After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down
