- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cocoa powder for garnish
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions:
Put the strong coffee and sugar into a small saucepan and mix them together
Stir the mixture while it's on medium heat until the sugar is gone
Leave it alone until it's cool enough to touch
Put the gelatin in a small bowl and add cold water to it
Leave it alone for five minutes to soften
For 10 to 15 seconds, heat the gelatin mixture in the microwave until it turns into a liquid
Don't let it boil
In a different bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form
Mix the whipped cream and the cooled coffee mixture together slowly until everything is well mixed
Add the melted gelatin mixture little by little until it is fully mixed in
Pour the cappuccino mousse into glasses or cups that can be used for serving
Put the mousse in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it sets
Sprinkle cocoa powder on top and chocolate shavings on top before serving
Have fun with your homemade Cappuccino Mousse!
