Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce Dip



A thick, smoky BBQ sauce dip that has the unique flavor of Jack Daniel's Whiskey added to it. Great for making your favorite grilled meats taste better or as an appetizer dip.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Jack Daniel's Whiskey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a medium saucepan, mix all the ingredients together

Over medium heat, bring to a simmer and stir every now and then

Turn down the heat and let the sauce simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, or until it gets thick

Take it off the heat and let it cool down

Put the mixture in a jar or other container to store it in the fridge
